A successful political campaign requires donations. That’s the reality. Without sufficient funding, a campaign quickly loses the ability to grow its base and fund its operations. Operations include overhead expenses, staff salaries, supplies, utilities, advertising, travel expenses, and fundraising. It takes a team to manage all the moving parts of a professional campaign and, as the campaign progresses, the team must grow to keep up with the increase in the number of engagements, communications, and travel.
